University Marketing Landing Pages:
Strategy, Storytelling, and Conversion

As Director of University Web Services at UT Dallas, I led the strategy, planning, and execution of several high-profile university marketing landing pages. These pages supported institutional goals around brand awareness, student recruitment, and international outreach. Each project balanced user experience, visual storytelling, and technical integration. The result was a set of digital experiences that transformed static content into compelling, action-driven journeys.

The College Tour Landing Page

When UT Dallas was featured in the Amazon Prime Video series The College Tour, we created a landing page to build on the episode’s momentum. The page hosted the full episode, ten student video profiles, and exclusive clips featuring President Richard C. Benson and Assistant Provost Ingrid London. Clear calls to action—such as “Apply,” “Request Info,” and “Explore Majors”—encouraged visitors to take the next step. I led both the content strategy and project coordination across marketing and admissions teams.

Total Solar Eclipse Event Hub

In preparation for the April 2024 total solar eclipse, I led development of a multimedia-rich site that documented this rare event. The site also covered a partial solar eclipse that occurred on campus in October 2023. Inspired by Renaissance-era astronomy, the visual design referenced the sketches of Galileo Galilei and Nicolaus Copernicus. Content included articles, videos, photos, and event listings that engaged both the campus and wider community.

“The Future Demands Different” Campaign Page

To launch the University’s new brand campaign, The Future Demands Different, I managed the creation of a bold, lead-generating landing page. A prominent form allowed prospective students to request more information. The form fed directly into the University’s Salesforce CRM, enabling full-funnel data tracking. We could monitor the user journey—from ad impression to application—across marketing and admissions systems. This page demonstrated how university marketing landing pages can support measurable outcomes at every stage.

Lagos International Landing Page

As UT Dallas expanded its global presence with a new office in Lagos, Nigeria, I led a collaborative effort to support international recruitment. We worked closely with staff on the ground in Nigeria to design a page that spoke directly to prospective African students. Content highlighted the Dallas-Fort Worth area, student life, and the opportunity to live and work abroad. A request-for-information form connected directly to our CRM platform. This project supported a key initiative to grow enrollment from West Africa.
